Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

This policy explains how Object Removal Magic Eraser (“Magic Eraser”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) and the website magiceraser.us handle your information. The app is published on the App Store by Salah eddine Eddamouh. Contact: contact@cloudloomllc.com.

Summary

  • You don’t need an account to use Magic Eraser.
  • Photos you choose to edit are sent to our AI processing service only to create the edit you asked for.
  • We do not sell your personal information or your photos, and we don’t use your photos for advertising.
  • Advertising and attribution partners only receive your device’s advertising identifier if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt.

1. Photos you edit

When you use an AI feature (for example Remove Objects, Remove People, Erase Text, Remove Background, Enhance, Restore, AI Editor or AI Scene), the app sends the selected photo and, where relevant, your brush mask or text prompt over an encrypted (TLS) connection to our processing service hosted on Supabase. The service forwards it to an AI model provider (OpenAI or Google Gemini) to generate the result, which is returned to your device.

We don’t keep your photos in an account or a cloud gallery. Edited photos are saved on your device (your Photos library and the app’s History, which you can delete at any time). We keep technical logs of processing requests (such as the feature used, model, success or error, and timing) to run and improve the service; these logs don’t contain your photos. AI providers process data under their own terms and may retain inputs for a limited period (for example up to 30 days) for abuse and safety monitoring.

The app needs access to your photo library or camera only to let you pick and save photos. You can change this in iOS Settings.

2. Usage and device data

To understand how the app is used and keep it working, we collect:

  • App analytics: events such as screens viewed, features used, edits completed and errors, with app version, device model, OS version, language and a random app-install identifier. These go to our own analytics (Supabase) and Google Firebase. They aren’t linked to your name or email.
  • Configuration: Firebase Remote Config and our own configuration service deliver settings and feature flags to the app.
  • Purchases: subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use Superwall to show subscription offers and check whether you have an active subscription. We never receive your payment card details.

3. Advertising and attribution

We use Meta (Facebook SDK) and Adjust to measure which ads lead to app installs and subscriptions. On iOS, the app asks for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow tracking, these partners may receive your device advertising identifier (IDFA) and in-app events. If you don’t allow it, we don’t share the IDFA and we don’t send in-app events to Meta. You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. The website

This website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google measurement tags (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking). They help us understand which pages are useful and which visits lead to App Store downloads, and may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising storage off by default, so no such cookies are set without consent. You can also block these cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out add-on. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.

5. How we use information

  • To provide the features you request (processing your edits).
  • To provide subscriptions and restore purchases.
  • To measure performance, fix bugs and improve the app.
  • To measure our advertising, where you have allowed tracking.
  • To answer your support requests.
  • To prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

6. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

We process data to perform our contract with you (providing edits and subscriptions), based on our legitimate interests (security, analytics and improving the app), and with your consent where required (tracking for advertising, which you can withdraw at any time).

7. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the app: Supabase (hosting and processing), OpenAI and Google (AI models and Firebase), Superwall (subscription offers), Apple (payments), and, if you allow tracking, Meta and Adjust. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without your permission.

8. Retention

Photos are processed temporarily to create your edit and are not stored by us afterwards, except as described above for our AI providers. Analytics data is kept for up to 26 months. Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email contact@cloudloomllc.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. Because we don’t use accounts, please include details that help us find your data (for example the approximate time you used a feature). You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

Magic Eraser is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

11. Security and international transfers

Data is encrypted in transit. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries, and we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

12. Changes

We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page.
