How to remove text from a picture

    Open your photo

    Download Magic Eraser from the App Store, tap Start editing and pick the photo with the text you want gone.

    Paint over the text with your finger. Cover the edges and any shadow or reflection, too. Pinch to zoom for small details.

How do I remove text from a picture on iPhone?

Open the picture in Magic Eraser, select Erase Text, paint over the words and tap Remove. Save the result to Photos. The whole process takes about ten seconds.

Can I remove a date stamp from an old photo?

Yes. Scan or photograph the print, then brush over the date stamp. The AI replaces it with the surrounding scene. Pair it with Restore to fix scratches and fading.

Does removing text blur the image?

No. Only the area under the text is regenerated. The rest of the image keeps its original sharpness and resolution.
