Clear a crowd in 4 steps

  1. 1

    Start with the biggest people

Brush over the largest figures closest to the camera first.

  2. 2

    Remove and save

Tap Remove, then continue from the result. Each pass adds clean background.

  3. 3

    Work through the rest

Brush the smaller, more distant people in groups of two or three.

  4. 4

    Finish with shadows

Catch leftover shadows and reflections with one final pass.

Shoot with removal in mind

  • Leave some clear background around people so the AI has context.
  • Avoid people overlapping you. Separation makes cleaner edges.
  • Take two or three shots of the same scene; one will have fewer people in front of key details.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI remove a whole crowd?

Yes, best in several passes. Removing everyone at once asks the AI to invent too much scene; groups of a few people give the most natural results.

Will landmarks stay accurate?

Only the brushed areas change. If people cover part of a landmark, the AI reconstructs that part, so check details like signs or statues and redo the pass if needed.
